How many weeks since Passover 2024?

Passover in plain numbers

Today is Thursday, October 1, 2026. Measured against Passover on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the gap is 891 days, which is 127 weeks and 2 days or roughly 29 months. In hours that comes to 21,384, and in minutes 1,283,040. The target date is a Tuesday and sits in week 17 of 2024.

This page is not a snapshot. The figures are recalculated every time it loads, using the Asia/Karachi time zone, so tomorrow the count will be one day larger. If you bookmark the page you will always see the current gap rather than the number that was true on the day you saved it, and nobody has to edit anything for that to stay correct.

Planning around the date

For work and school planning the useful numbers are working days and weekends. Between Passover and today there are 637 weekdays (Monday to Friday), 127 Saturdays and 127 Sundays. Take out public holidays in your region and you have a realistic count of working days that passed. If you were paid every two weeks over that stretch, that is about 63 pay cycles.

Some people prefer to break a long wait into stages. The quarter mark of the range is Sunday, December 1, 2024, the halfway point is Saturday, July 12, 2025, and the three-quarter mark is Friday, February 20, 2026. Passover sits 31.1% of the way through 2024. There are 127 Fridays in the range, which is handy if your deadlines or deliveries land at the end of the week.

About Passover

The first night of Passover, computed from the Hebrew calendar's 15th of Nisan. Because Passover is a religious observance, many families organize travel, meals, services and time off around it. Congregations usually publish their own schedules, so treat the date here as the calendar date and confirm local timings with your community.

Passover follows the Hebrew calendar, a lunisolar system that adds a leap month in seven of every nineteen years. The Gregorian date is computed with the fixed arithmetic rules of that calendar.

Passover in other years

In the coming years Passover falls on: Sunday, April 13, 2025 (536 days ago); Thursday, April 2, 2026 (182 days ago); Thursday, April 22, 2027 (203 days from today); Tuesday, April 11, 2028 (558 days from today). Last year it fell on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Comparing the weekdays shows how the holiday drifts through the week, which matters when you plan long weekends, school breaks and travel that depends on which day of the week it lands.

What comes next

The next major date after Passover is Mother's Day on Sunday, May 12, 2024, 19 days later. If you are planning a stretch of several weeks, it helps to know where the next break or deadline falls so you can space out your commitments.

Passover: last time, next time and next year

The most recent Passover was Thursday, April 2, 2026, 182 days ago (26 weeks); the next one is Thursday, April 22, 2027, 203 days from today (29 weeks). These results move forward on their own: once a date has passed, the page switches to the next occurrence, so the same address stays correct in every year and you never need to look for a year-specific page. The table under the key figures lists the same dates with their weekdays.

Using this week counter

Weeks are how projects, school terms, training plans and pregnancies are usually organized, and every week has seven days and one weekend, which makes weeks easy to compare across months of different lengths. The figure here counts complete weeks, and the leftover days sit right beside it so nothing is hidden.
