Put another way, that is 135 full weeks and 3 extra days, about 31 calendar months, or 22,752 hours if you count from midnight. The date lands on a Thursday, in ISO week 9 of 2024, and it is day 60 of 366 in that year.","This page is not a snapshot. The figures are recalculated every time it loads, using the Asia/Karachi time zone, so tomorrow the count will be one day larger. If you bookmark the page you will always see the current gap rather than the number that was true on the day you saved it, and nobody has to edit anything for that to stay correct."]],["Planning around the date",["For work and school planning the useful numbers are working days and weekends. Between Leap Day and today there are 676 weekdays (Monday to Friday), 136 Saturdays and 136 Sundays. Take out public holidays in your region and you have a realistic count of working days that passed. If you were paid every two weeks over that stretch, that is about 67 pay cycles.","Some people prefer to break a long wait into stages. The quarter mark of the range is Wednesday, October 23, 2024, the halfway point is Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and the three-quarter mark is Monday, February 9, 2026. Leap Day sits 16.4% of the way through 2024. There are 136 Fridays in the range, which is handy if your deadlines or deliveries land at the end of the week."]],["About Leap Day",["February 29, the extra day that appears in leap years under the Gregorian leap-year rule. Leap Day is a civil or calendar date rather than a festival, and people track it for deadlines, payroll cut-offs, contract terms, school terms and accounting periods.","Leap Day exists only in leap years: years divisible by four, except century years that are not divisible by 400."]],["What comes next",["The next major date after Leap Day is the start of Ramadan on Monday, March 11, 2024, 11 days later. If you are planning a stretch of several weeks, it helps to know where the next break or deadline falls so you can space out your commitments."]],["Using this weeks-since counter",["A weeks-since counter is the natural way to look back at a project, a habit, a pregnancy, a training block or the age of something. It counts complete seven-day weeks between the most recent occurrence of the date and today, and the leftover days sit beside it so nothing is hidden."]]],"summary":"Weeks Since Leap Day 2024: 135 weeks since Leap Day — Thursday, February 29, 2024","show_method":true}
